Core Combat purchaseable download

I was just watching G4 Pulse and they announced Core Combat for Planetside (I knew about it before hand). But they also mentioned that it will be buyable in a store like a normal expansion pack AND you can buy it online and then download it. Someone asked about this before so theres ur answer.

No set time frame for most of the smaller, non-expansion changes has been given, but PlanetSide: Core Combat will be available both as a retail product and as a purchasable download this October.

I have a feeling pretty much all SoE expansions will have a downloadable option for purchase after LoY for EQ went through so smoothly.

no it wont be cheaper on the simple basis of them making as much money as humanly possible. Itd be nice, but come on, what happened to all of our "free" add ins.

Oh wait, now i remember, its called Core Combat. I dot like but i guess we have no choice. So much for that.

Never done the DL xpac thing. I think it would be smarter to make it cheaper though because you aren't getting documentation with it and crap.

And note I said option. I think it's safe to say you'll still be able to buy it in the store
