Time to find Dirt

Look, with the recent lasher nerf and it now sucking once again dmg-wise, it has inspired me to ask you to do the following:

I want any person out there thats reading this forum to find as much statistics on empire specific weapon types to compare them.

ie. Lasher-(statistics here)
JH- (Statistics here)
MCG- (Statistics here)

This could be for any field of weapons. MA, HA, Vehicles Weapons, etc. Also if you think you see an inbalance- report it, and if you don't but the statistics are in a certain weapons favor to an extreme degree, explain why you think the weapons are balanced.

The lasher does not suck damage-wise. It still rapes infantry, just not vehicles and MAXs. Thank you, drive through.

P.S. There are already stats out there comparing the Lasher to the other HA weapons. If you look hard enough you might even find one that is very biased one way or the other.

the lasher doesn't suck.. its as good as the jackhammer up close and it can fire from a distance... so theres nothing wrong with it.

I havnt even gone near the lasher.

I prefer splattering Pilots all over the ground with a starfire max.
I nearly ran out of ammo one day.. i was like kill me already

I don't think looking at the empire specific weapons in such a narrow way fits in with the dev's concept of PS....

From what I understand they look at empire balance and not balance within the specific certs....I'm not goin to go into everything I've read about this subject but each empire has its own advantages and disadvantages under different circumstances. It's learning this and choosing the proper empire for your prefered play style that will make you happy or unhappy.

Good luck thinking it's dirt, it just proves that the nerf was minor and that the Lasher is still just fine. Almost exactly equal to a JH up close and superior from a distance.

Also, keep in mind that according to Thottbot there is an equal percentage of JH and Lasher users on PS right now (32%), while there are significantly less MCG users (21.5%). If the Lasher sucks that bad, your empire doesn't seem too concerned with it.

i saw a post earlier with the statistics of the lasher showing that the dmg rate was way low. if u actually read my post ud see that i said if u think they are balanced or imbalanced plz state why. dont say..

just tell me WHYYYYYYYYY u think its balanced, ie. RoF, distance, area of effect., etc.
