10 day free trial for a cool mmorpg

If you've shot enough things and want to take a little break until the Balance Pass, check out a game called Rubies of Eventide. It's got a 10 day free trial, so it's nothing but a 300mb download. If you can remember, put 'vaporlock' in the referral field.

It's published by a very small software house. So much for the myth that you need megamillions to develop a 2nd generation mmorpg.

I signed up for the 10 day trial of this game about a month ago. For a mmorpg without the big production dollars of other mmorpgs, it holds its own pretty damn well. I actually stopped my shadowbane trial early because I enjoyed RoE alot more.

It isnt a SUPER GREAT game, but its pretty solid. I'd definitly recommend that anyone try it out for at least a day or two.

Is it better then DAoC? I am desperatly looking for a good rgp to replace that game. DAoC=

its okay, i mean, its a game you can play, but as i played it, i didnt enjoy it, its like a game you can play as a drone, but all in all, its solid, if you exclude the funny bugs. but thats why i play PS, i enjoy it, like when funny stuff happens, or a OS comes down by you and you just get away from it. i still enjoy that stuff.

again: mostly everyone i talked to said that it was a nice attempt by a budget game company, but it was far too confusing and had too little content. and the graphics are nothing to splurt over.

well, the thing is, you can easaly get the most powerful gun for whatever kind of weapon type your going for, but the armor costs a hell of alot more, and the whole prospesting thing was....lameish, i mean i didnt mind, and crafting was very easy, since it tells you what you need, combat, is well, weak when you start off, but later on, say when you get better in one type of gun, or master the Marksman skill tree, its a whole lot better. so what im saying, is that in order to get to the really fun parts, you gotta play for a while, but then again, if your going for Musitian or Dancer or something like that, it can be fun from the start, since your sorta going to online parties alot
