Played Werewolf: The Apocalypse for awhile. Had a kahn (weretiger) that just ripped shit up. I own the Mage and Vampire books as well but we never got a vampire campaign going and the system for magic in Mage was just to open for my taste.

White wolf is actualy a company name, the publish vampire the masqurade were wolf the apocalypse mage the assension mushrooms the spawning and a buncha opther games (ok maybe not the mushroom bit). All there stuff exists in a semi interlocking world called the "World of Darkness"

Happy: For me that was always the big draw of their magic system. I always loved the ability if i had mastered that level of power to be able to make my spells up on the fly (albeit at a higher dificulty roll) and you have to reaslize the fact that they pay for it heavily if they use magic in public counts for something

The other powerfull one is a 8th gen Tzimisce, the rest is all 12 to 14th gen brujah and malks... quite scary...

It's usually pen & paper but unless he finds a dice system he can roll made for this such cause then no way it's gonna be pen & paper...

Probly gonna have character sheets online then you roleplay the character it self... (type in-character, bold for actions, italics for thought..)

That was what I both loved and didn't like about the mage system. I loved the idea of being able to do whatever you want with your magic but there were very few guidelines to follow as how much paradox (at least I think that's what it's called, been a long time) any given action would place on you. It was all pretty much left up to the players from what I remember but then again like I said it's been a long time since I even cracked the book.

Yes this is normally a pen and paper game, yes I have a dice roller to simulate, I even have one that appends rolls to the ends of posts. As far as D&D i've always had a subtle bias against it, everytime I ever sit down to a D&D game I'm just struck by the number of people who seem dead set on power tweaking their characters (i.e. munchkin) to hell and gone.

Anyone intrested in playing please send a starting character to the above address and I will check it over and get back to you,. Anyone that is intrested in playing but has no clue of the game also let me know and I will help you create a mage or you can slect a character from a few I've got.

Oh by the way, harbringer of souls 8th gen is pretty fragging disgusting. Some npc celestrial choruster whould have tossed a sunlight bomb at you by now in my game.
