Comcast just fucked up everyone's DNS...again! I'm using Proxify.

I hate comcast with a passion. I have no idea why they keep fucking with this. And I have discovered no matter what I say to them they will not acknowledge its a problem. So I gave up

Hmm, this works on another forum that gets hosed by it's DNS every-so-often.
Try this and lemme know if it works or not:

Anyone having or still having an issue with getting to planetside-universe.com.

Windows XP or 2000 or any NT Based System.

Open a file in notepad (or your favorite text editor)

this file is called

C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

"hosts" is the file.

Once you opened this file.

look for a line called

Code:

127.0.0.1       localhost

Put This line in after that localhost part

Code:

69.31.7.50	planetside-universe.com
69.31.7.50	www.planetside-universe.com

Now your HOSTS file should look like this (Or Similar)

Dont Forget to Save

Now Try opening planetside-universe.com in your browser and it should work.

Yea that's what i have done. Keep in mind if we ever change IP's you will have to remove that
