The next GTA?

What do you think the next GTA theme will be? I loved the Libirty City one, 80's Vice city was ok, but what about the next one? I've heard rumors of future flying cars (God I hope not) but this is all I've really seen that looks official.

Heard alot of talk about it being a huge multiplayer game... but then again alot of rumors are running rampant about alot of games lately so I wouldnt count on it. Just wait for it and enjoy it when it's out.

I think they should do it like 2007 in Hong Kong or something so the weapons and cars just have a bit of a futuristic touch to them but nothing major like flying cars but they should make one weapon some kind of laser! Or go old school with the prohibition days.

They are working on a GTA: Sin City. Vegas themed using the GTA:3 engine. They are also working on GTA 4 but I haven't heard what kind of theme or ideas they have for that yet.

lol, where on earth did you hear this? The debates for the next GTA theme are Las Angeles. Las Vegas, Or Sand Diego, styles. I've heard from several media sites that Rockstar is leaning towards a Vegas style.

The next one IS GTA 4, I doubt they'll make another one that's un-numbered. A friend of mine swears to god that the next one will be GTA 6, since there was GTA, GTA II, GTA UK, GTA III, GTA VC, but I think it should just be GTA 4.

Hokay, did some research and I got the scoop on GTA.
The next GTA game is San Andreas.
After the release of Vice City, Rockstar and Take Two Interactive began talking about combining their games GTA and Sin City into one collaborative game as they had similar storylines and atmosphere. Rockstar is busy with San Andreas but they decided it would be funny to stage an elaborate hoax claiming that Sin City was the next installment before GTA 4 and it would be out on October 24, 2003. They submitted articles to major video game magazines and also appeared on live interviews. The executive producer for Vice City appeared on CNN on April 1st, 2003 and Frank Miller with Take Two appeared on Tech TV both claiming it would be the next game and was slated for release on October 24. Months later, they admitted to it being an elaborate hoax, but that story didn't recieve much attention.
