Enraged!!!!!!!!

This is utter BULL SHIT!!!!!!! I just upgraded my computer the other day and ran PS before the loadstar patch. It was amazing. I could actually play the game on high res graphics for once. Even in big battles.

And now with this new loadstar patch my fps is just as bad when I had my 512 mb of ram and my 1.2 Celeron processor.

Am I suppose to believe that I upgraded my computer for obsolutley nothing? I spent nearly 1000 bucks upgrading my computer for this game just so I could play the game at its best for just ONE FREAKN' NIGHT!?

Here is what I currently have:

Pentium 4 2.6Ghz
768mb of DDR ram
ATI Raedon 9000 pro 128mb
ASUS P4P 800
40GB Hard drive

Honestly this should run PS smoothly. And if one person tells me I need more ram... I'LL BREAK SOME NECKS!!!!!!!

I even went into options and did as much tweaking with the graphics as I could. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS!!!!!

video card. If anything is choking your system, it's the video card. Throw down $150 and get a good 9600pro.

Then why was I able to play so well the night before the patch? This is what boggles my head.

It means they think they are optimizing their code, but really they are just fine tuning it for their iMacs or some bullshit cause nobody ever seems to get the benefit of their optimizations.

There is a bug in the virtual memory code that was introducecd this patch. Many players can't even get the game to load - you are actualy one of the lucky ones to be able to play at all.

The best mine ever ran was right after the balance patch, ever scence then my preformance has sedily gone down with every patch, i havent tryied this one yet, so i'm witholding jugment but its safe to assum the FPS enhancmemts are for lower preforming computers, like my old p41.3 ghz, ATI radeon 7000 it acctualy has gone up a considerable amount

False alarm you guys. My internet was totally screwed up this morning.

My internet providers were having a bit of problems and my cable was working at the rate of a crawl.

All is good now and Im playing PS with a much better fps now.
