Uhhhh....

It's 7am, I woke up at 11pm yesterday and have been up since, and yet I know, in a few hours, I'll fall asleep and the cycle will start again, it's been like this for a week or so.

Anyone know how to reverse this process?

I would like to be awake during christmas day

Come have christmas in the US.

I'd try to outrun it, or sleep it in.

Sry i cant really explain it, but try to go to sleep the same time you do on a normal day. if you go to sleep at 11pm but wake up at that time, stay up for 24 hours and do that several times till you fall asleep at that time.

Something like this happened to me once over the summer where I woke up at 6 pm.....course my mom was furious so she made me go to sleep at 11pm and get back in that groove.

Thats really hard though, I have to stay awake all day

I got really annoyed today, cause my aunt and uncle (who have flown over from Malaysia) came round to take me out, but I was asleep

So they took my brother and bought him a new hifi

Can you sleep for 15+ hours, or are you one of those people that can never get back to sleep after 8?

Because I usually party every Friday and Saturday night, stay out till four, then sleep in till 6 pm... When I have a week or so off of work that starts to really mess me up because I am getting way more then 8 hours of sleep I can not go to sleep till I am up at least 12 hours. So I end up like you, waking up at ten PM, then going to sleep at noon!

But I correct myself one of two ways... First thing is if I have a couple days before I need to be back in schedule I go to sleep whenever, and sleep till 8 am, even if that means 16+ hours of sleep; then the next day I just make sure to burn as much of that energy as possible so I can go to sleep at 11 pm and wake up at 6 am without a problem.

Or the other way I correct myself is the sucky way... I wake up at 6 am and go to work, as long as I don't have any alcohol in my system I can usually function from 6 am till 8 pm without a problem. My record so far is a whopping one hour and 15 min of sleep. Thats the tough-love way, while driving home barely awake I usually promise myself I won't do it again... Then Friday rolls around

Only sure-fire way I've done it was to stay up all day and then to finally pass out around 11pm or so (when "normal" people go to bed). My usual sleeping habits used to be me going to bed at 6 or 7 am and getting up around 1 or 2 pm.

Yep, it ain't gonna work if you try to go asleep during the night. At 7 AM force yourself to stay awake till 7 PM. Then you should wake up around 3 AM. You get the idea.. just do this over like 3 days.

I agree with Onizuka but much like when you are about to take a transcontinental flight you have to screw up your body clock for like 2 - 3 days. The trick with you right now is to stay up beyond what you want to... go to bed but set your alarm get 5-7 hours sleep and then stay up more the next night sleep 5-7 hours until you are back on schedual.

redbull is good stuff, once i drank so many that i passed out, and had a dream that i was sugar high, it was more of a rage than a high i guess, but it was in a dream, then i woke up all sweaty on the floor

do not drink more than 10 red bulls or this will happen to you, 4 should be enough to keep you up all day, unless you are caffeine tolerant
