Does it really suprise you that much? Garfield has turned into a HUGE franchise. Jim Davis owns his own animation studio. They've done cartoons, video games, countless toys. It was only a matter of time before they made a movie, espeically with modern computer graphics.

The old Garfield movies are classic cartoons. My favorite was Garfield In Hawaii, or something similar. I wouldn't dismiss this so easily.
EDIT: J-Love... great, there goes my lunch. BUT WAIT! What's this? Bill Murray as the voice? Hmmm, can he beat out (rest in peace) Lorenzo Music, the original Garfield? They sound similar... Last edited by Firefly; 2003-12-29 at 08:30 PM. |
