Online gaming gone too far!

Honestly! I feel only pity for these kids.

In extreme cases, game addicts have collapsed and died after playing for hours, consuming nothing but soda and instant noodles.

You can't help but question some of the social skills of these pro gamers. This is why pro gaming and game competitions should be left outta North America.

Remember when people played online games to have fun?????

well, yea, its still for fun, and people like having fun so much, they spend that kind of money. though, it is stupid in the long run, especialy for Lineage, that game looks like shit. anywho, its a life choice their decision, if they do something illegal like stealing money, to contiune their addiction, to jail with them, just like drugs.

Its not as fun as it use to be. I sometimes play CS. But because im not up to par with some of these clanner *******. I get called a n00b and such. Instead of having fun im now getting spammed by the ******* with thier vast knowledge on the l33t dictionary and the game becomes a flame fest.

well, after the split between north and south korea, south korea disallowed shipments of video game systems, etc., leaving them with nothing to do. what was the obvious solution? computers.

and, yeah, it is extreme over there. i've watched videos of the 24/7 starcraft network, the guys playing it have their own team jackets and the announcers are nuts.

i always found it kind of weird that when we, in north america, think of "extreme computer gamer" we think of some fat white guy, but over in south korea, it's a really emancipated asian guy.

lol boobs in the face...

Ya some people, not only in S. Korea, but in the world are just just plain crazy. You just hear about it more in S. Korea because there are a bigger percentage of gamers there, producing a bigger % of dumbfucks. IMO, it really is pathetic when people dedicate their lives to a game, and even more pathetic when people actually sell things in game (items, accounts, w/e) for actual money.

How do they do ^ that by the way? Can't think of a way that one of the traders couldn't just screw the other (ie. one person gives the other the money, and the other guy doesn't do what he's required to do).

Cus Pro-Gaming is extreme in S.Korea. They have a whole TV-channel that shows StarCraft games etc all the time.

You CAN be a Pro in gaming in S.Korea.

The root of the problem is not online gaming or gaming competitions. The root lies with the fact that there are really stupid people in the world
