I have a somewhat strange problem...

a problem suddenly appeared about a week ago. I log into the Sanctuary, go to the HART, and drop to the continent that has the most action. The continent loads, and at the exact same time it finishes my connection to the server cuts out. I have tried waiting it out, but it eventually kicks me out of the game. This is similar to a problem I had about a month ago when it wouldn't even start loading the continent before it kicked me out of the game. I fixed that by reinstalling the game. However, I do not want to wait out a 2+ hour patch every time a problem like this crops up. How can I fix it?

PC Specs:

2.55 GhZ Pentium 4 processor
80 GB Hard Drive
512 MB RAM
64 MB NVIDIA GeForce 420

Also, i have horrible FPS lag when I can fight, what should I upgrade to get rid of it, what should I upgrade to, and where can I buy it?

Are you perhaps running on a Wireless? Sometimes it happens to me and I have bad lag in battles.

Well for upgrades, it looks to me like you could use a better Video card, and 512 more ram.

Do you have a firewall on your computer(not router, software one)? try diabling it if you do

the problem to that is that I have no idea if it does or doesn't. I have SBC Yahoo as my ISP, it might come with a firewall, but it doesn't tell me if it does. Also, I have McAfee virus scan (i think that's it), and I dont know if THAT comes with a firewall either. so, i'm up a little creek in that area

edit: its Norton Antivirus
