My internet is completely borked. I think it happened during the last rain storm. Some water must of gotten in and short circuited a wire or something. Anyway, my internet now works for about 5 min at a time before completely stopping for any random amount of time. The only was I am able to browse PSU right now is by sitting at the window next to my neighbor's house and leaching off of his blazing fast connection . My dad decided that instead of tracking down the problem and fixing it, he is going to switch to Comcast. I just wanted your guys opinion on comcast. I know it is considered the devil here on PSU because some of its users could not display this site. My neighbors connection is comcast, and it gets PSU fine, so that is not an issue. Is there anything else I should know before we get comcast?

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

Well, now I know to stay away from Comcast.
Incedently...Comcast may be the Devil...but Disney is Satan...I know, I used to work for them....look what it did to me! Joking aside, Comcast's CEO used to work for Disney and I wouldn't be surprised if Roy Disney had asked for a small favor in order to help push Eisner out (Eisner was origonally brought in to help stave things like this off...how ironic). There bid was awfuly low and Comcast has no experiance in running a highly diverse mega-media giant like Disney. If anything, Disney could come right back with a counter offer to buy out Comcast. Besides, I don't think the Regulatory bodies will let this one fly. Time-Warner was about the biggest they will allow. Plus being that huge doesn't mean you are profitable, just like Time-Warner discovered. |
