What the hell is up with the TR color scheme? The vehicle colors used to always be black and red, Like in this immage:
They are still like that for me, but around the time CC came out, I started seeing screenshots with a gray based color scheme, like this: Why did they change it? Why did it change for other people, but not me? |

You actually set thoes grahpics they are not like that because of your PC but you actually had to go and change it. I never really saw why thoes would cause less lag or give more frame rate they just replace most of the color with another color, white. |

I really hope in the next expansion, SOE announces that PS will be switching over to the UT2004 engine. I can play that game with all the options up on 1600x1200 resolution and get no noticeable chop or slowdown at all, even during intense action in big outdoor maps like ONS-Torlan. In PS, the game looks so much worse and plays like crap. I think the poor performance I get in PS is my single biggest turn-off toward the game.

The PS engine certainly seems lacking. Not only does it perform poorly, it also appears to be a big limitation to the devs. A frequent response to questions is "the engine cannot do that." Not complicated things, either.
You'd think if an engine is inefficient, it could at least be flexible.
