I have the ts server and installed it and wrote down the passwords and names it gave me. I go in with my Superadmin password and later teh admin one and i have no privileges adn cant register anything. I also cant figure out how to use the administration thing when you right click on the server icon. I put in my server address and password right because it didnt give me the instant page saying that i did it wrong but it wont finish loading the next damn page. Ive tried this all while logged on and off of the server.
What the hell am i supposed to do to get the damn admin privileges? |

Okay, specify what you mean.
TS you are referring to Terminal Server? Did you make it remote or an application server? If you made it an Application server there are lots of white papers about it. Something to note about Terminal server, if this is what you are asking about, it may require Domain admin rights or even enterprise admin rights, although I doubt the latter. There may also be a group, made in active directory specifically designated for administration of terminal services, sort of like the remote users group in active directory for RDP users. Make sure you have everything else installed that is required for terminal services to operate. I do believe certificate services have to be installed for TS Application server. What OS are you running, and is Terminal Services Application server what you installed?

Edit: is your name regestered? beucase you are on the auto ops list already. If you did not do a /msg nickserv identify <pw> before you entered the channel then you would of not got ops on that entry. Last edited by SecondRaven; 2004-03-09 at 12:22 PM. |
