Leaving your PC on all the time is a bad habit. It's bad for it. The longer you leave your PC running the more likely windows will crash the next time you use it. You need to shut down so your memory can be cleared and leaks can be fixed. Another reason is for security purposes. The more your comp is on, the more susceptible it is to remote attacks while your asleep/away.
