I just got back from a tounament for Battlefield: Vietnam at my local Computer Cafe, called Rivaloutions.
We had 4 teams of 7 going, made up of locals who signed up. 1300 tickets, 20 min round, forgot which maps. The layout was like this(i think)...
Team 1 vs. Team 3
Team 2 vs. Team 4
Team 1 vs. Team 3 (again)
Team 2 vs. Team 4 (again)
Team 1 vs. Team 3 (again again)
Team 2 vs. Team 4 (again again)
Final Round... Team ? vs. Team 4 (i don't know who we played, but we killed them.)
The first game my team(team 4) played, we lost by 2 tickets. Seriously a fucking close game. We would have got a flag that would of won us the game if we had 3 more seconds.
Second game, we won. We capped all the flags and grabs some sodas while the other teams tickets rolled down to 0.
Third game was a kinda close win, by about 75 tickets.
The final round was 40 mins. We were playing on The Seige of Khe San or something like that. We base hopped almsot th whole game, coming close to getting all the falgs about 10 times, but came out with a clean win with a difference of about 300 tickets. I came out on top of everyone, with 68 caps or whatever its called, 48 kills, 12 deaths.
Thing is, first time i ever played was yesterday, for about an hour. Today was the second time i ever played the game.
Won a shirt and an all-day pass. I'm going to try and get around to ordering the game tonight.

just kidding man. Good job, this game is addicting. Definately get it, its lots of fun.
