Should I ask her out?

There is a girl I am considering asking out, but it seems a little wierd. I have known her for about two years, but I have only meet her in person once. We talk over AIM fairly often. She is the sister of my ex-best-friend. Me and her brother are enemies now, so that could make it a little awkward. Another major problem is that she is a Sophmore and I am a Freshman. That is probably too much of a age difference for highschool. Do you guys think I would have any chance?

As for Freshman-Sophomore, that should not even be called an age gap. I see Freshmans with seniors all the time. And Sophomores with 2nd yr college chicks, but you gotta be a pimp to do that

I've never seen the older girl with the the younger guy in highschool. Most of the times all the really hot girls from freshman/sophmore go with juniors or seniors. Semi hot freshman go with sophmores which sadly leaves freshman the bottom feaders.
