That $100 price tag will drive many away, especially the ones that already have to travel for it. (Travel + lodging = mucho dinero)

ya, id have to fly all the way there with my family ($300.00) get a hotel ($50-$100) pay fee ($100)

now i just dont have that kind of money.

I only have $300 right now and I'm going to spend all of it on upgrading my computer . I live like 40 minutes from San Diego though.

seriously, NEW YORK CITY is the best city out there. it would only make sense to have it there. besides i'm guessing one of the reasons you are having it in san diego is because the devs are based out of there. they have the money to travel, most of us don't,
