Alright, I was playing CoD again. Redoing Brecourt, Elder and I had just touched down into the trenches when there a bright flash! Boom! I CTD, it seemed normal except for the fact that every single colour on the desktop was very pale. Like white, it doesn't seem to be permanent, a quick reboot fixed it. But now I'm worried if it'll happen again.
Any ideas Rob? |

high gamma settings left over from the game settings. it's not damaging and happens all the time - even planetside does it from time to time.
rebooting will always fix it, so will opening your video card properties and re-applying the gamma correction setting.
