New AMS sounds cool.

Just had a thought, when they introduce the arrows to show where a gunner is pointing, that's going to be murder on the battle wagon, 5 arrows

AMS should be interesting. My bet is Equipment terminals on the sides where the tubes are, and decon panel / Bind terminal on the back. A locker would be nice as well.

Wouldn't really make sense to put a locker in it. It's supposed to have limited availability. If you want to stow something, decon at the AMS and put it in a base locker. Same if you want to get something out of it. Make sure you bind first though so you can get back to the fight.

While this is true, keep in mind this would allow for the proliferation of AT weapons on the field, an area that many think is sorely lacking. Would certainly make me feel like my money was better spent on Core Combat.

i actualy made this one of my ask the devs questions. along with changing the timers for inter emprie switching and med air transport. early knows how long ive been saying they need to rework the amss. i have several posts about it too. Looks like theyve listened to all our pleas.
edit:: and i think someone told ya about wanting lockers on there first early =P

Actually, I read the idea of a locker to better field AT gear on the Official Forums a little while before I even told you about the changes today. Fuckin' Smurfs always think it's about you.

early don't be so rude to the little blue guys it's not their fault they are lately comprised of empire jumpers

in any case thank god for the ams redesign when you have a good chunk of a force spawning at an ams it can be hell to get to the equipment term not to mention the thing is just butt ugly
