Mouse Buttons 4 and 5

Hey guys. I've read several people in another forum talk about a program (I think Logitech?) that allowed them to set their Mouse Buttons 4 and 5 to a letter key in order to map it into games that do not support 5 button mice. I was curious if anyone knew of this program and could link it for me here. Thanks ahead of time....

Ive got a logitech MX500

I love it, mainly because it's got a wire and my last one didn't. Damn thing needed new batteries all the time and kept flickering on me.

It's EXTREMELY accurate and VERY comfortable, it fits your hand perfectly. It's got 8 buttons on it, all of which are positioned very well.

Yes, it's true. With the software you can map the keys. However, you can only map to the F keys (as well as a slew of other useful options for non gamers). Still, it's useful because you can just set the mouse buttons you want to a few F keys then go into the game and set the controls you want to the corresponding F keys.

Everyone thinks I'm crazy, but I prefer a trackball. I've used mice while gaming plenty of times, but I much prefer the way a trackball feels...

I've got an older Logitech wireless mouse, but I didn't like always having to replace the batteries. Is there a way to map the thumb buttons with Intellimouse Explorer? If not, I guess I could shell out the money to get a new one.
