nirvana is definately not one of the best bands of all time. they were only around for a few years, kurt cobain cant sing for shit, and they only had like 2 successful albums. naming the best band of all time is impossible.

Impossible to determine. Many bands revolutionized different aspects of music. Most of the bands you listed had a gigantic impact on the industry, but so did many others not listed.
