Im going to London!

Next December my marching band is going to go to London to preform in the annual New Years parade there. Maybe I will see frag there.

So, question for Frag and the rest of our brits. What should I expect over there? How is England different ffrom the states?

Try to duck out of it and go to an eastern european country. Prague is great, so is Budhapest.

London was the worst place i've ever gone. It was even worse than Paris, and most of you know my feelings on the French.

Y'know, I hear they banned alcohol once here in America... something about Prohibition or something on those lines.... they got rid of it though. I wonder why?

And aren't cockneys the English version of hillbillies? I'd never imagine a hillbilly would say "Check mah new bling".

erm...cockney isn't like "hillbillies" that'll be rural welsh speaking english types i suppose...Cockney is the working man's urban dialect, just like the stereotypical American gangster films that have them all talking with..erm...Italian mafia English like.....you will find stereotypical English mafia speaking cockney.

Actually a true cockney is somebody born in London within the sound of Bowe Bells other people from that hellhole are just Londoners
