wewt, it was awsome
I got there, met up with my friends, and the line was SUPER long, but everybody was moving in at pretty much a walking pace. so we decide just to cut in line, nobody cared though. best bands were Story of the Year, Flogging Molly, and New Found Glory. can't remember the names of some others. when Flogging Molly was almost done, everybody started throwing their water bottles up in the air, now that was ALOT of water bottles on account that there was close to a thousand people attending the concert, I myself didn't have a water bottle but got hit in the back of the head twice with them. as soon as NFG got on stage, the entire crowd lurched forward trying to get as close as possible, lifting people up on top of the crowd like crazy. and, of course I got hit 3 times in the head when they came from behind me - the people just fell on top of me :\ almost lost my glasses because of it too. then, they called for a HUGE circle pit. if you don't know what a circle pit is, it's basically when a crowd makes a circle right in the middle and just run around in it/push eachother around alot. gets kind of violent sometimes, somebody got a concussion because of it and they had to call an ambulance. it wasn't uncommon for somebody to be lifted up on top of the crowd and then just fall back on the ground
when New Found Glory was almost done, I tried to make my way out of the huge mass of people. I got out, passed by the huge portable half-pipe where people were *trying* to skate. only one good person on it, and he was on a bike - go figure - and make my way to the Playstation 2 tent where they have actual chairs.
after the concert, I have to get a ride with my friends to a Pilot gas station so my brother can pick me up. and, of course, we almost crash. twice. the first time she was going too fast and barley stopped at a stop light like half a foot from the car in front of us, the second time she was trying to switch lanes when another car just flies by us forcing us to almost go out of control. I never did like her driving.
just thought like putting out my thoughts, pretty bored, have a bad sunburn, and only got 5 hours of sleep last night.
