I think it may be sooner than that. Probably in October, November they'll release it.

All of the gameplay code can remain some things have to be modified to accomidate for Source but according to Lombardi after last years E3 Gameplay code can easily be used from HL1 to Source. Art and Reskinn Modeling and everything else involved it maybe be a few months. Then again you have Valve doing it so then add six months.
