Heh, got RTR. Not bad, the mosquito is good but the new allied tank is crap. Also, next expansion pack(inevitable) better have Canada as a choice. I mean, who wants to play as French and Italy? I guess we can find out who truly sucks more

I am gonna have to pick this up when I finish my new PC. Gamespot gave it an 8.9 and the screens I saw looked pretty good.

I hate the Italians with an unparalled fervor. I can't wait to kill them. Actually, I think that I will play desert combat for free for a while.

Canada was one of the reasons Britain could survive during the battle of britain, we sent large amounts of pilots and built many planes. Also sent supplies. We helped in D-Day by taking Juno beach. We were the major liberator of the netherlands. We fought in China. We built anti-sub frigates which helped supplies get to England.(By "we" I mean Canada) Thanks of rhte support Unreg. Glad to see you still cruise the forums. BTW, the french levels truly do suck, the french get raped. Too bad they didn't make a "who sucks more" level in BF1942 by putting the french against the Italians. That'd be one funny game. People slipping and dying. Both sides surrendering often. France would probably surrender faster though after 12 seconds of fighting and italy after 20 so france would lose

I'm American. I also hate it when people judge what the western allies did compared to each other. What's the point? Yeah the French rolled over, and the English held out long and hard. But after those two, it was mostly a strongly unified response. Only now, do we - who did nothing - try and compare what "our" country that was better than "yours". All of us joined together and were not just Canadian, Austrailian, or American, but the Allied forces. Sorry for the rant.

Flame off.

Well, I'm off to search on numbers of D-Day to see if Unreg is right. Heh, I didn't know that about it.

Honestly, I feel those numbers are off a little. However, the Canadians got stuck with a part of the beach that was known to be untakable, and they went, and fought, and died, bravely. If they hadn't, the rest of the offensive would have failed. It was as crucial, as the allies taking Omaha and the surrounding cities.

Dunno, why. Reminds me of Dieppe. Sort of useless. I can imagine some British"OOOHHH...Send the Canadians. They'll do anything!". Heh, meant to be a joke but it still seems to happen alot like that.

no country should be judged for what they did in world war 2. U can't divide that into who did the most it was simply a fight between good and evil.
