Beta confermation code

Hey, Hi there. Just filled out the beta application and was wondering if anyone who did got their confermation code right away? I haven't gotten mine yet after like 15 minutes but then again maybe they are sending them out in batches. Doubt that though, so many sites like these forums have almost instant confermation. Thanx for any info.

Yeah, when I read I would recieve the confirmation code "shortly" I assumed instant or 15 minutes max... well that was this morning at about 6 a.m. and no word so far.
Guess we'll just have to sit back and try to relax and wait it out.

Not sure whats going on with that, your not the only one that has had problems... If you dont recieve one I suggest emailing

I posted in another thread that if you didn't get the code you may want to start over, and then on the page where it lets you enter the code look for the link that says "Clcick here if you did not recieve your code" You can then enter your e-mail in, hit submit and the code shows up immidately.

That's what I had to do since I did not get my code either.

That's what I had to do since I did not get my code either.

Well....I tried that. However, even the link to resend the code just says I'll be receiving the email shortly. However, I think I'm just meant to "chill" with the rest of those who can't get the code as I still haven't received mine after a couple of hours. *sigh*

I don't. Maybe it will come later. It seems this is a comon problem. All I know is that when I put in my e-mail to resend it came right away.

I dont know about you guys but I got mine pretty fast. I signed up last night (11/1/02) very soon after the beta site went up (I spent a few hours online signing in to see if the sight was up).
But when I registered I go the coomfrimation code in like 3, 4, minutes and I'm here with a 56 k. I think and my friend agrees that there probably getting so meny regestrations it could slow they're email thing down. .

So I say hang with it you'll get it. We have all waited to long to stop now .

Keep trying to get your confirmation code during different times of the day...

I just clicked the email link again to ask for my confirmation code and I, finally, received it and completed the Beta application. So, even though you may have tried numerous times earlier...don't give up as it went through fine for me this last time (about 3 hours after my first request).

I had the same thing as Unregistered. I didn't get anything for about 10 minutes, and then I just pressed that link, it asked for my email, and i got it instantly...

Same thing for the NDA. You have to refresh the page to get it to submit

Easy answer to this.

I too had a real problem getting a confirmation code.

So out of disgust, I started a NEW Station account. Guess what, it came right away. Course, I did this at work and had to have my wife email me a copy of my dxdiag.txt file, but hey, where there is a will, there is a way.

PS Anyone have problems seeing what they wrote? On mine, everying was in WHITE! I had to drag my mouse over the text box to see what I typed. Annoying.
