I was taking what you said, and going a step further. You said, loosely translated, what makes us think that nobody created G'd but it's impossible that no one created the universe? I said, what makes us think our G'd is the true G'd? The Greeks and Romans and Norsemen and every other post-archaic civilization thought their gods were the real-deal - hell, they even thought their emperors and kings were deities incarnate, but I digress. So why should our thoughts be any more correct or more-accurate than theirs?

I hate zealots. I hate assholes that fling their religion in my face because their figurehead told them to. If I wanted to be a friggin' Mormon, I would have converted - I don't need a bunch of short-sleeves-and-ties dudes proseletyzing at my door trying to sell Jesus to me. If I wanted to worship a guy with an enormous hat and the human mother of the so-called Son of G'd I would have become Catholic. You don't see Jewish people or devout/pious Islamic men and women or Buddhist monks and practicioners of Buddhism running around ringing doorbells at 7am on Saturday handing out leaflets and shedding crocodile tears of joy at the happiness that we've found. No - you sure don't, and you don't see massive temple-groups at Ari Goldstein concerts rocking out to contemporary Jewish praise songs (I made that name up, we don't have a Stephen Curtis Chapman or Carman or whatever).
So what, your religion is the only religion that gets you to heaven and you want everyone to be saved too. Guess what, clowns? My religion says I go because I'm a good little ***, and Hosam al Masry's religion says provided he doesn't break the Pillars of Islam and provided he lives his life according to the wisdom of Allah (another word for G'd for the ignorant) and His prophet Mohammed, he goes to heaven too. We all go, in our own way- so it comes down again to one simple thing - who's right? Me, you, or Hosam?
