Need some help

Okay, I just got PlanetSide, and I have a problem. Whenever I play, as soon as it loads a world, it freezes, and locks up. I get "Windows-system error" and every time this happens, I have to restart my computer. I can play all the training missions fine, and my sanctuary works too, but anywhere else this happens. Please could anyone help, this really sucks. thanks

try deleting all of your .lst files and your machine.ini file. then start the launch pad. (files are in C:\Program Files\Sony\PlanetSide)

If you're using an Ati video card, go into your ATi control panel thing and make sure everything is set to default. Under the 3D tab, make sure have Direct3D picked and you're not trying to force PS into OpenGL.

I don't know what nVidia's panel looks like but it should be about the same.

Nvidias panel is way different, it has this goofly little thing that comes off the side. Oh for uniformity.
