FTP questions

Does a FTP server allow you to upload things faster than normal upload? I was just wondering, since yall know about all this stuff I figured someone would know. Thanks!

not realy, your still limited by your upload speed

well it lets you access stuff from other places, lets other peopel get it, if its at a server with high upload bandwidth that the FTP is on, after the innitial upload, you can other peopl can DL it quite fast

FTP = File Transfer Protocol.

Essentially it is just an efficient means of file distribution and transfer.
