Don't get me wrong, I like Green Day. But you�re right. It's nothing really new. But you also have to remember, most bands find a sound and keep it, usually it the record company saying, "Well the last album sold well, make a new one but just like it cause it's going to sell well too!" And when bands refuse that's usually the end of them. But every band has their sound wither the record company is forcing them to do it or not.
