CD - RW problems

Can anyone help. I have rebppted my pc to factory setting and now the CD-RW wont work. It has power but it is not in "My Computer" and the open button the the drive does not work.

I looked in the pc and there is no wires hanging off.

Did you try downloading it's newest drivers? How about "Add Hardware"?

tryed "add hardware" with no luck, but havn'tm tryed looking for new drivers

Did you set it as master when it should have been slave? check the black jumper on the back to see if thats the problem.

All cables are conected. Its juat that the computer has been rebooted 3 times now, but this time, the CD-RW drive is not working, must be software problems
