What about the Saleen S7 and dodge Viper?

Those pics look stunning, suprising that they could squeeze that on the ancient PS2.

It really isn't all that surprising. Game devs haven't been making games to their full graphical potential. Before PS2 came out we always heard about the amazing abilites of the 'emotion engine' and such, but nobody really uses it iirc.

Crazy Peugeot 205 that's pants wettingly fast > *

Edit - Right Click, Save As

That's a Peugeot 405 T16 in that video, on the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb, compared to the 205 T16, there isn't much difference, and that video is a work of art.

Those are some amazing shots, I can't say I have ever been a GT fan though. It's a shitload of work, I just want to race exotic cars dammit

good point. I never liked the way gt handled...too realistic for me i guess..

and btw now that i look at it Forza Motorsport isnt really exotics...just production cars that you can upgrade and stuff. They aren't all japanese cars though.

I love the GT series, but seriously, those will be at a much lower resolution on release.

It's just a bunch of tricks. Most of the high detail stuff is just sprites, the graphics aren't *that* good

See that pic for reference.

The cars look fucking nice though.
