Hi all, you guys even remeber me still? I hope so, because I need some help from some more web savy people on the double quick.
I have started development on my own little project. I will fill you guys in the details when they are more clear to all involved. What I need to know is if there is any way to put text on a website in a font that the veiwer does not have and make it show up on their screens in that font. I am trying to include alot of a font called 1942 report (a broken typewriter type font) but most folks do not have it. I am using dreamweaver MX to build the sight if that makes any difference. A quick answer is emperative as I am on a dead line. Thanks in advance. PS: When was that smilley added?

Could you not put the writing into a paragraph on a transparent background on say, Photoshop, and put the .gif (or .png - works best on Mozilla etc, so I suppose the target audience will be using IE) on the site?
Here's an example of the .png

Does anybody know a way to do this? I could have sworn I have seen text on websites with fonts I don't have...
And for all of you who don't know, Ruby is my brothers band, you can find out more about them here: www.RubyInterweb.com
