Can we say dumbass I think the use of a stun gun was tad bit overkill. IMO they could have just knocked out of his hand with a nightstick |

I disagree. It worked and no permanent harm was done. As such in my opinion there was no reason not to use it.
As for knocking the glass out of it hand, consider what might have happened if that hadn't worked.. the child would have gone nuts, probably hurt himself or someone else. What's better, a tazer defusing the situation, or a 6 year old stabbing himself or someone else? The concept of overkill, in my opinion, does not apply when no permenant harm is done. In this situation, I do not see the use of a tazer as overkill at all. This would not have been an issue if it was an adult, I don't see why it should be an issue with a child, who is equally capable of injuring someone with a weapon and is likely to be far less predictable. TB. |

Nah, I think that was the best idea. Using a nighstick or something similar could cause him to slip and actually slit himself deeper/ elsewhere, even if he didn't mean to... At least this way he was almost guarunteed to just drop the glass because of his muslce's reflexes.

wtf, he wasnt electrocuted.
[/nice guy] [nazi] secondraven, i'm going to fix the thread title because few things piss me off more than the misuse of the word electrocution. it was a low-power TAZER. "electrocution" is a combination of "electricity" and "EXECUTION" gah.

1. stick sharp metal spikes through casing and into battery of camera (remember kids, this is DANGEROUS, don't zap yourself) 2. Turn on camera 3. Charge flash and watch it crackle 4. Poke people or small furry animals with your new toy.

Tear casing from camera, charge flash, apply soldering near flash to target.

What a waste of a TASER charge. I would have shot him in the face.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
