EA shutting down isn't necessarily a good thing. They have the potential to drag down a huge chunk of the industry if they go under.

I really sincerily doubt that EA will truly "go under"... in other words, now would be a good time to buy shares and make a good profit out of it next year. I think it's common sense to assume they didn't pull a profit due to the huge purchases they did in the recent months.
