DUH! Dell has to feed the computer $1000 for each half GHz of overclock.

I'd have bought one if i had the cash.

Then I'd have ebayed it as a collectors item starting at 10k.

Still, you must admit, that is an amazing system. I mean, Quad-SLI, that is 2 times the power in the PS3... and 4 times as fast a 360... Plus the OC and what not, still not worth 10 grand, but still, defintley an amazing system.

Perhaps, but if you wait long enough for something that takes advantage of the specs, we'll have stuff at normal prices that'll be more powerful.

Actually... it's not really. I mean yes, it's awesome, but you can easily find/build better rigs than that. I mean, those video cards are already outdated, as is the CPU. Not to mention... it's an Intel. All EEs are is an Intel with a large cache. Add in some "overclocking" (which is hardly overclocking when it comes from Dell pre-clocked). I still prefer AMD chips way more than Intel when it comes to gaming.

I'm not saying its a bad machine either... just that it's definately nothing special at the moment.

Out of curiosity what were its exact specs. I want to see what it would cost if you built it yourself. Anyone know?

I got a labtop and maxed it out with all the best equipment and it only cost $2000.
