Australian Army Fights Toads

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/5092226.stm

They carry a venom so powerful it can kill crocodiles, snakes and other predators in minutes.
Holy shit

This kinda thing happens all the time when you inroduce shit to places it's not supposed to be.

Most Naturalists/animal activists understand the impact of a grossly overpopulated invasive species. Only the poorly educated types think killing animals is horrible ect.

Most will agree that when species like this become a problem humane killing is the best solution.

When I was in Australia with my family I caught one of those in my hat and kept it in the hotel bathtub. One day we came back and it was gone; the maid had left a note saying that it was deadly and it had been be-headed. I later found out that if it had secreted the toxin, I could have been killed. (I was about ten, and my weight at that time was well within the capability of the toxin.)

One member of Australia's federal parliament has previously suggested that people should beat them with a golf club or a cricket bat.
Animal welfare groups have said that the humane way to get rid of these invaders is to put them into a freezer until they die.
Lol, why cant our politicians and animal rights jerks be this cool?

That is just awesome. In the USA they woudl be all "OMG DONT HARM THE TOADS THEY DID NOTHING WRONG" imo when that happens send all the toads to the houses of animal rights activists and see what happens next.

Then set a camera in their house, and see how many they're friendly too before they die, or how many they take with them.
