If that was one of my sub-contractors for ADT, I'd have their license removed for bad business practice. I can't stand scumbags who do this crap. My job at ADT is pretty much making sure our sub-contractors don't pull stunts like this and make our company look bad.
Usually it's just making sure they make their customers appointments and follow our corporate rules and regulations, but it also includes making sure they maintain a professional business appearence, because ultimately, they put the equipment in and service it, but the ADT logo is on the hardware and the customer pays their monitoring fees to ADT, so any bad business moves they make effects my company. They screw up enough times and they can kiss their contract with us goodbye.
