We also hand out syringe kits, hell we even have designated spots where such addicts can go and shoot up (and dispose of the syringes), why? We beleive it's better to make it safe even if it's illegal. Would you rather have a bunch of syringes lying around where your kids play?

They still get arrested eventually... not in the clinics made for injections thought. They just encourage safety even if it's illegal.

actually, a lot of places have needle exchange clinics where you can turn in you used needles for clean ones.

Its juts not advertised or the public would have a fit.

I know there's a few in Philly. I have a friend that's a Paramedic. He gets called out to them sometimes.
