Stealing Enemy Vechicles

Terran Elite Airborne Regiment

I was thinking, do you know like when you steal an enemy tank or plane n' such, would they be able to notice that ur not part of their Empire and kill u or can u organize massive hackings and then wait for your empire to attack and then and then hit the enemy Empire in the back? will that be possible???

you cant steal their tanks. you have to be a hacker and hack teh vehicle and turn it into your empires, so nobody can steal other peoples empire vehicles unless they are able to hack it

i think it was determined that the second u hack someones ride it turns to ur empire spec. colors. so saddly no trojan horse type stuff

Well hacking it = stealing it, doesn't it? You just can't hop in and take it though.

No, they wouldn't mistake you for one of their guys, cause I've been lead to believe that when you take an enemy vehicle, it changes to your factions colours.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to be a certified hacker to hack into them. I'm under the impression that anyone can hack. People with hacking certifications can hack a lot faster though (and they have a tool that helps them even more to this effect)

i doubt anyones gonna try and hack someones ride though without a hacking cert. itd be highly unlikely for someone to get the chance to sit for like 15 minutes in someelses buggy, trying to hack it without the cert.

Everyone can Hack Base doors and the Control panel without a Hacking cert, it just takes a long time.

To Hack a vehicle you need the Hacking Cert, at least, maybe even the Adv Hacking.

Everyone can use a REK, just someone without a Hacking or Adv. Hacking cert won't get it done for a while. You can take enemy vehickes, but they turn your color, and only really dumb people will not shoot at you.

Also the bigger the vehicle the longer the hack. Galaxy's take a bit longer to hack than a wraith. And when you hack/steal it you have to be certified to drive it. Or, someone in you're squad has to be.

Yeah, and vehicles change colors when you hack them.

This has been covered a billion times too if you had searched the forums at all.
