But yeah, I see the damage to the hose line. What is that line for? I would assume the a/c, in which the mouse probably died from eating the refrigerant, but can't really tell.

Its long done now, can't void my warranty. Plus not to mention I don't have the equipment to lift my car and remove an entire gas tank, it would have ended up costing more than it did

Most fuel pumps are exterior mounted right in front of the Driver side rear tire next to the fuel tank. You don't need to lift the car at all, a jack would make it easier. What's the M/Y/M of the car hamma?

eh, on both of my cars the fuel pump is in the tank and its a bitch to drop, its a shit ton of work so that makes it hella expensive.

so yea I could see that price.

The tanks are expensive, but to drop a tank out its a grand total of about an hour tops. cyphon (sp?) as much as you can out, clamp the line to the engine with a pair of vice grips, pull the line and let more gas out, remove screws holding input to tank, remove the strap/ binding / 2 bolts / mount on the side of the outlet and let the tank hang while letting more gas out, remove other restraint and take out the tank. Granted IF you have lift this is easy other wise its nigh on impossible. They also can be mounted over an axle or something retarded giving you a headache. Other than that its a pretty easy job.
