computer parts and config post opinion

well here it is

Im gonna get a celeron/p4 shared motherboard right now and put in a celeron 2ghz than when i got some money im gonna get a p4.

system is gonna have 512mbs sdram and a gforce 3 ti500

Personally I've never been a big fan of celerons but apparently the new Celeron's aren't too bad. If you're cost conscious I guess it isn't bad but maybe you should consider a non intel system and go AMD if you have less money.

You'd probably be happier with AMD like they mentioned. Much more bang for your buck.

for now its 200 canadian so just the mobo and cpu and I already got the graphics card so..

I was also thinking just amd athlon set and save 30 bucks
