runtime error.

After I launch PlanetSide from the station launcher, my screen goes black for a little while, and my computer says:



This is the first time I've run PlanetSide on my new computer which has Windows 7. Wondering if that's a possible cause of the crash.

Check Sprouts Ad and Albertsons Ad.

Try XP Compatibility mode.

I just right clicked it and did the troubleshoot compatability thing, but It still gets the same error.

Right-click the actual launchpad.exe (not the desktop shortcut) and select "Properties". Under the Compatibility tab is a dropdown menu for running in compatibility mode. Select Windows XP.

A bit of a necro but I am having trouble with the Runtime error just as the game just start up.

I have had it before but can not recall how to fix it.

This damn error stole about 3 weeks of the 45 days free sub last year.

Solution was simple. Righclick on the launcher icon, and select "Run as administrator" (or whatever, the entry with the shield infront).

Xp-mode couldn't help with the problem, but this one has worked.
