BF42 fun with explointing grenades

I know a lot of people here play battlefield 1942 and has anyone noticed that more grenades are being thrown than shots fired? it makes it really gay now that the little amount of skill that was needed to play has vanished.

I was playing on Omaha as the allies and this guy on me team tuns into the bunker on top of the hill and shits by the ammo box and just keeps throwing grenades into the half hall thing.

Does this make anyone else angry?

Yeah, that would make me mad if i played bf42, spamming 'nades everywhere. plus rampant ally killing sprees?

Nade spam isn't bothersome if you know what you're doing. The only map it's really bad on is Berlin, and even then the only time it will do anything to you is if you don't know enough to take the alternate route...then you just climb into the building, find the box, zoom in, two to the dome, move on. A skilled player with a gun will kill the noob with grenades every time.

trust me not in omaha all they did was drop grenades on the paths up there was one there every 2 seconds and they just run up to reload and if you got up there was a tank. I had to do engineer chuting to get up

Did you ever think to use ship guns and scouts? That tends to alleviate the problem.

Don't need to be, if you spam the inside of the bunkers (yes, it is possible to get arty shells in there) they won't get a chance to nade spam you when you charge.

Berlin is easily the worst map for grenade spamming.

I remember one time playing on a 64 player server playing Berlin, right at the beginning as the Allies were entering the city, one of the Axis players chucked all his grenades and got 15 kills with 3 grenades. This guy laughed for like a minute afterwards while a few Allied players started screaming at him.

Was quite funny even though I was one of the fifteen he killed.

FF alleviates the spam problem but creates many more....Too bad few servers have TK kicks
