For some reason when I run games and shit my video card is emitting an ULTRA high pitched sound. What the hell is this all about? Am I gonna have to send this card back AGAIN!?! Its running everything perfectly and i'm getting awsome results out of it except for this noise.

Newegg doesn't make the cards, it has nothing to do with them. You just had some bad luck in the cards you got.

Do you have any cards plugged in right beside your sound port? Like your video card puts off an electromagnetic field that can muck up sound cards. Try and space out your cards on your mobo....

It doesn't really make sense that a card would get louder during gaming unless it has some sort of temperature sensing fan on it that speeds up...
Maybe it's your monitor running at a resolution/refresh rate it's not happy with? Sometimes they can make high pitched noises.

powdahound you're surely the greatest geneous the world has ever known my friend. I set the RR to 72hz and voila! the sound is now so small that when i put the side of my case back on i dont think it will be audible to me. YAY!
edit: hey i just noticed that it says you have 56k in your comp description, are you gonna make the leap to BB for ps?

Another happy customer!
About the broadband: I'll have it in late August when I go to college. No sooner than that though. Looks like I'll be a medic/engineer for a few months, lol.

ACK!!!! It was temp fixed but it seems to be back in full force
p.s. Powda you still the man. Im gonn ask evga what they think of it and if they say they have no ideathen ill have to send the card back. Also I disabled the sound completely and it still occurs, when i put my ear up to the video card i can tell thats where its coming from. The only thing on the card that could be cabable of making noise is the fan but the noise only occurs when i look at certain objects and such. Does anyone else find this extremely weird?
