I know there have been a few threads like this recently, but does anyone remember T-Ray at the PS2 panel saying something along the lines of-
'We've shown you this trailer, but soon you guys are going to be like 'Why show us this' with all the information coming out soon' Thats not an exact quote, and the meaning was slightly more veiled when he said it - but it was still obvious what he meant. Its been a month and we've had nothing. I don't mind not getting information about the game, im patient - it will come in due time and we just have to wait it out. The devs have better things to do than satisfy our need for info. However, saying you'll do something - and then just not delivering on it is really uncool. |

The term "soon" is relative. In a game developer's point of view, where it can take many years to make a game, the term "soon" can mean more than a month. But yeah, I don't really care when we get new info. I'm excited for the game, but I don't have a hard-on for it like pretty much 95% of the people here.

We, the 95% of the people here, on the other hand, don't really care when you get an erection... |

New info would be awesome. For the most part, I feel pretty supported by Higsby and T-Ray (their involvement on the forums, etc). One of the things that was encouraging was Higsby adding, very distinctly, that not only did they intend to "inundate" us with new Planetside 2 info, they intended to do it on a "regular basis." It's been a month! Looking forward to it!

I think we have more than enough topics on this.
It's not been a month since the devs have posted here on this forum. Honestly, sadly gamers are now spoiled by companies with millions to blow on marketing and you see stuff like every week. SOE likely can't afford to do that, we will see something when we see it and I highly doubt it will be an information lull like we saw at the beginning part of this year. |
