Towers. Let's make them more divergent in structure and capabilities.
Air Towers: Four AA guns, plane pad/hangar that repairs/rearms, but under cover, and a HECK of a lot more height, as in five times higher than current air towers. Elevator or elevators in addition to stairs. Watch Towers: Broad-spectrum communication package that enhances communications, has four turrets with extended distance vision (including night vision, and not just a tiny little pinhole view, but full-screen), and vastly expanded radar SOI. Has a CC area that has functional screens that show the surroundings in much greater detail. Gun Towers: Four guns: each of which has two fire modes: regular guns, like the old towers and turrets, and another that is either AA or AV, sort of like the old system, but much heavier hitting, and lower reload time. Vehicle Towers: Vehicle pad/garage that repairs/rearms, in cover, four turrets, upgradeable as with Gun Towers. No vehicle spawning. All have EQ terms and spawn tubes, but the Air Tower has its tubes near the top floor, along with the CC. Spawn can be chosen: the floor above the CC, or the floor below it! Let's hear some more ideas on towers. Should they be deployable, or capable of being towed to a site like a siege engine? What would you change? |
