Back in PS, I played on all 3 teams, but it was my TR character that was actually part of a decent outfit. For the life of me I can't remember the name of it, though. I spent most of my time either running around in MAX suits or doing ANT runs and trying to discover new shortcuts through the mountains, which often resulted in one very stuck vehicle.
I remember the epicness of the night the meteors came, and how the game soon went downhill after that, which resulted in my quittage.
Planetside 1 was my first MMO and it colored my impressions of all other MMO's since then.
"Why can't we conquer the other side's overworld zones? Why do all the battles have to be in instanced arenas? Why is the player limit in these battles 32?" I'd say.
But deep down I always hoped one day Planetside would make its glorious return, and then so would I.
