There needs to be a building game but more advanced and polish than minecraft.
Set in a fantasy world, you work to build epic kingdoms, towns, villages, outposts in how ever you want to design it with large variety of styles. The terrain will be varied for unique building locations. Their will be goals for your subjects from farmers to guards. With intelligent AI for a varying amount of situtations they can create and react to. Unique controls similar to Roller Coaster Tycoon as you can set custom paths or let them roam around. A RTS pop out button showing a changeable view of your kindgom rotating and zooming in on places setting controls and permissions as well as what you own. Other kingdoms can spring up and trade or wage war. Monsters can iregurraly attack your town requiring constant defence and management. And you can build epic cities and then leave them on their own and see how they progress by themselves as you build another kindgom, become an active hero or villian, or simply watch the world around you grow and evolve. I want. Last edited by Senyu; 2012-01-04 at 10:34 PM. |

Wow, that would be an epic game. There have been many that do a lot of those things but not all at once. Perhaps a few have attempted to do a few of them in one game...
Ceaser Series, Children of the Nile: Immoral Cities, Zeus, Starcraft Series, Warcraft Series, Stronghold Series, Tropico Series, Imperium Romanum, Civilization Series, Sim City Series, Age of Empires Series... There's more... Those are some I've played though... Last edited by Crator; 2012-01-04 at 09:50 PM. |

http://wollay.blogspot.com/2011/11/e...world-faq.html this is similar to what youve described. it looks like there will be a building aspect, but probably not huge. |

Gotta have multiplayer support. Building up stuff with friends is awesome. And mod support, playing some multiplayer matches in minecraft are fun as hell. You can add every kind of mulitplayer mode you can think of and there are just so many more options to the gameplay just due to the customizability of the game world.
I'd pick that up for sure.

Oh god castle story looks nice. I've always maintained that MC looked like crap because of its deliberately simplistic block style, and naysayers would say no, having slopes on the blocks just would work at all...
Now I get to point and laugh. |
